Promoter Prem Busarabavonwongs led the event. He has been a key figure in revitalizing the facility. New lighting, sound system, video, and layout have been completed with more construction to be done before the first event.

“Fairtex is happy to be a part of the remaking of Lumpinee Stadium," Busarabavonwongs said. My father was a promoter before. It’s an honor for me to come back here where Fairtex started and built many champions."

Fairtex has a long history of promoting. Prem’s father, Mr. Philip Wong, was a long time promoter at the original Lumpinee Stadium. The Training Center was able to build a strong number of champions including Jongsanan, Bunkerd, Kaew Fairtex and others.

There will be 8 fights on the card for January 16th

“There will be classic Muay Thai bouts along with Muay Thai bouts in MMA style gloves. In addition the promotion will have two to three MMA fights."
